Crock Pot Reviews
Crock Pots are great because they cook the items nice and slow, this allows for the meat to become real tender, the lid traps much of the moisture in and this allows for very juicy items.
I often cook stews, roasts and even chicken in my Rival Crock Pot.

Crock Pot Recipes - How To Make Beef Stew
The beef stew broth used 2 cups of beef broth which added to the beef flavor of the stew.
For the stew meat I actually buy a few steaks and cut them up, some people say waste of a good steak but nothing tastes better.
Something about cooking a stew for 8 hours that just makes it taste so awesome. Even the carrots in the stew had an amazing taste and I hate carrots.
That's what I love about a basic stew recipe, it is easy to put together and throw in the slow cooker.
Now I just wish I could find more slow cooker recipes. Recently I have been investigating a beef stew casserole, I will let you know how it turns out!

Why Steak Is Great
1) NY Strip Steak
2) T Bone Steak
3) Rib Eye Steak
More important that finding the right named steak is finding a butcher shop that carries nothing but good quality fresh meat items. Nothing beats grilling a fresh steak on charcoal!
Finding a good quality steak marinade is also important. I usually use Wegmans Italian Marinade or a Montreal Steak Marinade. The Wegmans Marinade may be somewhat hard to find since it is fairly local to New York. But the Montreal marinade you should be able to find at any local grocery store.
After the marinade cooking steaks is the next most important thing. The key here is to cook the steaks nice and slow while not pressing down on them. This ensures the maximum amount of juices stay inside. Lastly when you steak is done let it site for a few moments before cutting into it. This allows the juices inside to slow down, when you finally cut into it, the taste will be amazing.

Cooking Beef Roast On The BBQ Recipe
1 3-5lb beef roast
1 pkg onion soup mix(powder form)
1 small pkg fresh mushrooms
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
Pre heat grill/bbq to around 260 degrees F. Place a double layer of aluminum foil on the grill(large enough to wrap around beef roast). Sprinkle the onion soup mix on top of the beef roast and then sprinkle the garlic powder. Place the sliced mushrooms over top of the roast.
Place the roast on the grill and cook for about 2-3 hours, turning occasionally (depending on roast thickness). Try to maintain temperature around 260 degrees as this will keep the roast tender.
Once the roast appears to be done check internal temperature with a meat thermometer, which should read around 150 degrees.
